Jamaica on Monday recorded 15 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 128,228.

There was one additional death, a 93-year-old man from Kingston and St Andrew. This increased the number of deaths to 2,831. There are no deaths under investigation, nor coincidental deaths.

The positivity rate increased from 3.3 per cent to 4.7 per cent. The total number of tests: 1,963.

Of the 15 new cases, St James accounted for the highest number with 5.

Kingston and St Andrew in the meantime, accounted for the second-highest number of cases with 3; Hanover and St Ann followed with 2 each. Manchester, St Catherine and Westmoreland with 1 each. Clarendon, Portland, St Elizabeth, St Mary, St Thomas and Trelawny recorded no new cases.
