The US dollar on Wednesday, January 5, ended trading at $154.84 following an increase of $0.26, as indicated by the Bank of Jamaica.
The Canadian dollar, in the meantime, ended trading at $120.87 down from $121.64; while the British pound sterling ended trading at $210.77 up from $209.41.
The Euro went down by $0.80, ending trading at $178.75.
