Jamaica on Tuesday recorded 26 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 128,079.
There were no additional deaths. However, one death is under investigation, increasing the number to 416.
The positivity rate decreased from 9 per cent to 1.6 per cent. The total number of tests: 3,443.
Of the 26 new cases, St James accounted for the highest number with 11.
Kingston and St Andrew in the meantime, accounted for the second-highest number of cases with 4; Hanover followed with 3; Manchester and St Catherine with 2 each; Clarendon, Portland, St Ann and Westmoreland with 1 each; St Elizabeth, St Mary, St Thomas and Trelawny recorded no new cases.
