Burna Boy’s hit single ‘Last Last’ has now qualified for Platinum certification in the US after the track was recognized for selling one million units in the country, according to charts data.

The feat which was shared by the charts data on Thursday, declared that ‘Last Last’ had officially crossed over into the platinum territory, noting that the 2022 summer smash earned the equivalent of 1 million in sales from the US market.

The official certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is expected to come in short order to further verify the track’s growing success in that market.  

News of the noted sales comes just two months after the single earned Gold and Platinum status in the US and Canadian markets. in November

In November 2022  the single was officially certified gold for amassing the equivalent of 500,000 units sold in the US, while in Canada, pulling over 80,000 units in sales for Platinum recognition in that country.

The growing success of Last Last is set to be Burna Boy’s second platinum track in the States as his 2018 hit- ‘Ye’ was officially RIAA certified for registering over a million in sales in the US.
