Revelers in Trinidad have been soaking in the excitement of partying with rap star Nicki Minaj during their Carnival this week which climaxed on Tuesday, however, locals fans are since been clamoring for her appearance after stating her intention of going to Jamaica Carnival.

Minaj who has been documenting her revelry in her native Trinidad and Tobago via her Instagram shared her intention of making an appearance during the April scheduled week of events during her interaction with popular Jamaica Disc Jock-Foota Hype (@GallisWednesdayz).

“@galliswednesdayz need you to go BRAZY when you playing it. We need @ next Trini carnival & im going to JA carnival” she commented in response to the music selector’s “Likkle Miss” post.

“Likkle Miss”  her fan-given moniker -of course, is a reference to the collab with Skeng for the remix of his song of the same name.

Fans however noted Minaj’s pronouncement of coming to “going to JA carnival” and showed they’re already here for it.

“Jamaica 🇯🇲let me get my plane ticket” one user commented, “U better be in jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲😍😍😍😍😍” another shared while another reacted-“ …Ready for you Queen…🔥🔥🔥🔥”

Minaj who has long shared her admiration for her neighboring island- Jamaica has been partying with the country’s latest dancehall star Skengdon as she along with Soca giant Machel Montano showed the Jamaican the full Trini experience.

The Rapper, in addition to Skeng collab, also recently remixed Montano’s latest Soca drop “Shake the Place” featuring Destra ahead of the road march.

Jamaica Carnival is set to run from April 12 – April 18.
