Trading for the US dollar on Thursday, October 7, ended at J$148.85, following an increase of $1.23, the Bank of Jamaica has indicated. 

The Canadian dollar, in the meantime, ended trading at $119.54 up from $118.62 while the British pound sterling ended trading at $205.80 up from $204.30.

The Euro went up by $2.20, ending trading at $175.86.
