The police are probing a murder scene near the Swallowfield community along Old Hope Road in St Andrew, where a man was shot dead and several others injured this afternoon.

Sleek learnt that men on a motorcycle opened fire on a taxi with three men aboard.

When the smoke cleared the three men were seen suffering from gunshot wounds.

One reportedly died at the scene while the others were rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) for treatment.

The condition of the injured persons have not been ascertained.
