As the Jamaican proverb goes – “Di olda di moon di brytah it shine”. The words translate to: “The older one gets the more knowledge they acquire and the more wisdom they have to share”.

This might be the case with Australia’s oldest man ever, 111-year-old retired cattle rancher Dexter Kruger. The Centenarian shared the secrets to his longevity in an interview with Australian Broadcasting Corp (BC).

“Chicken brains. You know, chickens have a head, and in there, there’s a brain. And they are delicious little things,” Kruger explained.

Mr Kruger, in dialogue with ABC News on the date of his landmark age, reiterated that it was indeed his weekly chicken brain intake behind his long life.

His son however believes his dad’s long life should be credited to his “simple lifestyle”.
