Lawmen assigned to the St Ann Police Division have arrested and charged 24-year-old Lamar Hamman of Mammee Bay, St Ann with Illegal Possession of Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition and Wounding with Intent following a shooting at the Claremont Market, Claremont in the parish on Tuesday, December 29.

Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are that about 8:30 p.m., Hamman armed with a firearm went to the complainant’s stall and shot him once to his neck then ran from the scene. The complainant was assisted to hospital where he is admitted.
