A 48-hour curfew was imposed in the Seaview Gardens community following a flare up of brazen gun violence.

The curfew, which was imposed on Monday, will remain in effect until 6:00 p.m. today.

In addition to the curfew imposition, several men were also taken in custody in relation with the recent flare up of violence seen within the community.

The boundaries include north along Lelond Avenue from White Sea Drive to Yellow Sea Drive, east along Yellow Sea Drive from Lelond avenue to imaginary line ‘a’ that runs parallel to the gully, south along imaginary line ‘a’ from Yellow Sea Drive to White Sea Drive, West along White Sea Drive from imaginary line ‘a’ to Lelond Avenue.

Meanwhile, residents are being reminded to remain within their premises unless authorized by the Commanding officer.
