Chris Brown is set to take his ‘Under the Influence Tour’ to Jamaica come August 25 – 27 and the organizers at the media launch on Friday afternoon said Brown is “super excited about performing in Jamaica.”
BZR WKND JAMAICA 2023 (Bizarre Weekend) is the name and according to one of the promoters Ryan Burke of PLXYBOY in Miami, he noted that the show will be comprised of five events.
The events are:
HAUT MONDE JAMAICA which is an invitation-only event set for Friday, August 25th, 2023 at the AC Marriott Hotel in Kingston from 7 pm to 9 pm
MEMBA DIS! An ultimate ol’ skool party set for Hope Gardens is also set for Friday, August 25th from 11 pm until 3 pm.
PARADISE BRUNCH PARTY scheduled for Saturday, August 26th, 2023 | 12 PM – 4 PM at the Morgans Harbour (Port Royal, Jamaica)
INDIGO a tropical vibration event set for Saturday, August 26th, 2023 | 8 PM – 2 AM at Hope Gardens
And the ultimate event, CHRIS BROWN & FRIENDS (UTI CONCERT), will happen on Sunday, August 27th, 2023 | 4 PM – 12 AM at the National Stadium
The Promoter underscored that they are anticipating over 45,000 patrons and Chris Brown is anticipating a return to Jamaica to thrill his fans.
Prior to the media launch rumors were circulating about Dexta Daps and Skillibeng as co-headliners of the event however Burke indicated that is “not so at this time”.
According to the event’s Public Relations Director Judith Bodley, Kingston being the location for all the events under the BZR WKND is due to logistics – making it easier for patrons to move from one event to the next.
In the meantime, ticket prices start as low as 45usd (early-bird buyers) – approximately 6,750jmd and will be available to the public next week.
The BZR WKND JAMAICA 2023 (Bizarre Weekend) is expected to be one the best productions to hit the Caribbean and SLEEK will be there.
