Jamaica on Sunday recorded 25 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 127,986.
There were no additional deaths. No deaths are under investigation, nor were there any coincidental deaths.
The positivity rate decreased from 4.7 per cent to 2.6 per cent. The total number of tests: 2,990.
Of the 25 new cases, St James accounted for the highest number with 7.
Kingston and St Andrew in the meantime, accounted for the second-highest number of cases with 5; St Elizabeth followed with 4; Clarendon with 3; St Catherine with 2; Hanover, St Mary and St Thomas, Manchester with 1 each; Portland, St Ann, Westmoreland and Trelawny recorded no new cases.
