67 COVID-19 cases, 1 death

Jamaica on Monday recorded 67 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 128,053.

There was one additional death, a 100-year-old man from St Elizabeth. This increased the number of deaths to 2,814. No deaths are under investigation, nor were there any coincidental deaths.

The positivity rate increased from 2.6 per cent to 9 per cent. The total number of tests: 1,100.

Of the 67 new cases, St James accounted for the highest number with 14.

St Ann in the meantime, accounted for the second-highest number of cases with 12; Clarendon followed with 10; Westmoreland with 7; Hanover, St Catherine and Kingston and St Andrew with 5 each; St Elizabeth and St Mary with 3 each; Trelawny with 2; Manchester with 1; Portland and St Thomas recorded no new cases.
