Police assigned to the Portland division have confirmed that wanted fugitive Davian Bryan has been captured following an intelligence led operation in Durham District last evening.
Police also outlined that Bryan’s capture came on the heels of a community meeting held on March 18, along with snap raids.
Reports state that the 32-year-old suspect has been linked to the abduction of two girls aged nine and 13 in Bath, St Thomas, in October 2021.
It also alleged that Bryan targeted a student at the College of Agriculture Science and Education in Passley Gardens, who was abducted and sexually assaulted shortly after 5 a.m. on March 10.
In addition, Bryan was also wanted for several incidents in Portland including illegal possession of firearm and rape.
As it now stands, Bryan is expected to be charged with multiple offences including rape, abduction, and absconding bail.
