Jamaica’s U-21 men’s Lacrosse team will be aiming for back-to-back wins at the Lacrosse World Championships on Saturday when they tackle Ireland in their second game at Limerick, Ireland.
The JamLax team, who are fresh off their massive 14-0 demolition of Latvia in their tournament opener, will be full of confidence to log another credible performance in the championships when they take the field against the host nation.
They made history, as qualifiers for all age group championships on Wednesday and registered, not only an upset, but the biggest margin of victory among the fixtures. This shows that they possess potency in attack and will hurt if given the chance.
The Young Jamaicans will be hoping to carry over that form over into what is shaping up to be an active weekend as they will face Germany the day after the Ireland fixture on Sunday for their third game of the champs.
