Just over two weeks after Nicki Minaj revealed that she had remixed Skeng’s ‘Likkle miss’ and added the track as part of her recent album ‘Queen Radio volume 1’. The visuals for the remixed track looks set to be underway soon.

Fans of the dancehall act began to generate a teaser with a short snippet of a behind-the-scenes released via Twitter on Monday night.

The roughly 3-second clip which was captioned “Likkle miss remix video Coming soon” showed a dancehall party scene, where girls were dancing to parts of Minaj’s verse in the track.

The ‘We go up’ artiste who is no stranger to showing support to rising dancehall stars showed major spotlight to the Spanish town native after giving a shout alongside veteran Beenieman during her acceptance speech for music video vanguard award at the VMA’s.

Both Nicki and Skeng have been having a massive year thus far with the rapper bagging her first solo number 1 billboard record with ‘Super Freaky Girl’ which also comes from the album as its lead single.

This follows her top 10 entry as a feature on Coi Leray’s ‘Blick Blick’ in addition to her top two entries with her Lil baby collab for ‘Do we have a problem.’

Skeng, on the other hand who had his break-out year in the summer of 2021 carried over that wave into 2022 with several top trending songs such ‘Gang bang’, Protocol, and of course ‘Likkle Miss’.

The latter of which caught the attention of the rapper who showed her love for the song with the feature. This however isn’t the first time Minaj has expressed co-sign for the artiste.

She had also shown her approval for Skeng’s ‘Protocol’ in the comments under his Vevo channel shortly after its premiere.

In 2020 Minaj helped propel Skilibeng to his first Billboard entry after remixing his massive hit ‘Crocodile Teeth’.

With the link-up the ratty gang top man, it’s the clearest sign that he is on his way to being the next big thing for the music.
