Jamaica’s Sunshine Girls will be aiming to shine at the Fast5 Netball World Series when they tip off their campaign against rivals Australia on Saturday in Christchurch, New Zealand.

In a repeat of the 2022 Commonwealth Games finals where the Jamaicans were just edged for gold, the Girls will no doubt be eying a turning of the tables in this encounter.

The number three ranked girls who were imperious in their Netball World Cup qualifications where they ended unbeaten will be buoyed with that momentum to kick off the tournament.

The Jamaicans who have also beaten the top-ranked Aussies at the Commonwealth Games are expected to draw some inspiration from that win as they go seek to get their build on a morale-boosting start in the competition.

That fixture will be the first of three on the day with the Aussies also set to face South Africa and New Zealand later in the day.

The Fast5 which is the T20 of Netball is a two-day tournament that runs from 5-6th November 2022 at the Christchurch Arena.
