An Oklahoma man was on Saturday arrested and charged for shooting at his step-father and other relatives for allegedly losing a game of monopoly.

The accused John Armstrong was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

According to official reports, Armstrong was drinking with relatives in Tulsa Oklahoma when a brawl began between himself and his stepfather over a game of monopoly.

As the brawl escalated into a fight, it understood that the pair knocked over the board and overturned furniture before taking their fight outdoors.

Further reports also outlined that after getting cut on the head, Armstrong pulled out a gun and chased his stepdad and stepsister down the street.

Subsequently the police were called, and the accused was arrested at the scene and later charged.

While in custody, Armstrong admitted to firing the gun once at the ground, however, detectives were unable to retrieve the weapon which they believe was hidden by the accused at his home before he surrendered.

As it now stands, the accused is being held on a $25,000 bond and is slated to appear in court on Friday where he will answer to the charges given.
