Jamaica’s teen football sensation Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards has earned his first national senior Reggae Boyz invitation after being named to the training squad by new head coach Heimir Hallgrímsson.

Richards was listed among 32 invitees for the two-day training session between January 17-18 at the Jamaica Football Federation headquarters at the University of the West Indies.

The 17-year talismanic forward, who goes by the nickname whisper has been anything but quiet on the field after racking up over 30 goals and 19 assists in a dominant 2022/23 schoolboy football season for Kingston College.

Whisper who is also a product of the Phoenix football Academy is set to expand on European interests as his management team position’s this precious talent to carry on the same trajectory as Reggae Boyz and Aston Villa star Leon Bailey.
