English Premier League surprise package Newcastle United will be seeking a return to the top three when face Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Fourth-place Newcastle who have been arguably the most improved team this season will have eyes on nothing but three points against the 12th-place Palace as they aim at preserving their run at champions league football next season.

The Magpies who are on 38 points, will start as heavy favorites having been unbeaten in their last six games, four of which came in victories.

They will however be wary of the potential danger the palace team poses having prevented Manchester United from going second following a dramatic draw at Selhurst Park midweek.

The Eagles who have won just once in their last six will no doubt take a lot of confidence from that game into Saturday’s fixture as they aim to make it a competitive match-up.

A win for Palace could see them move up a spot if other results go their way, while a Newcastle victory sees them replace United for third place.
