Dancehall deejay Aidonia has officially released ‘Faith’ – his first music drop since the recent passing of his son.
The song which is meditative in nature is a heart-felt release by the deejay who uses the track as an avenue to share his feeling on his current mental space of rising above adversity and grief which is exemplified in the bridge, “Faith move mountain”.
The video which was released on his VEVO channel shows the deejay among the mountains as a possible reference to an escape into his peace of mind and clarity.
Parts of the video also show Aidonia dressed in a full red ensemble inside a church seemingly in memory of his song for which red was his favorite color, as he expressed faith in divine coverage to guard him against any overwhelming circumstance.
The track which was teased on his IG page on Friday was immediately followed by a series of support and encouragement from fellow entertainment personalities and friends in the comments.
Reggae singer Jessie Royal and producer Emudio were among the first to share express approval with flame emojis and praying hands.
While National footballer and friend Kemal Malcolm posted “Faith move mountains dada 🙏🏾”.
The track has so far racked up over 20,000 views in its first 2 hours of streaming as fans also expressed support for the artiste on YouTube.
