Renowned former media practitioner, Abka Fitz-Henley has been appointed to the Senate by Prime Minister Andrew Holness.

It’s reported that the former Journalist is expected to be sworn into the Upper House when the Senate meets on Friday, May 12, 2023.

Fitz-Henley will be the youngest currently serving Government Senator after the official swearing-in ceremony.

The former media man was dubbed the “Breaking news boss” and considered one of the most credible practitioners in the field of Journalism. He remained in broadcast media for over a decade where he gained prominence and also achieved several awards.
