The leading carrier in the region, Caribbean Airlines at the weekend resumed operations in Caracas, Venezuela between its home Trinidad and Tobago.

All flights resumed on Saturday, May 13; and the airline announced the expansion of its route network to the Eastern Caribbean in the coming months. 

According to several industry experts, these are significant milestones for Caribbean Airlines, and that it signals its intention to continue its growth trajectory.

According to the airline, the flights between Trinidad and Caracas will initially operate every Saturday, with increased frequency expected as time progresses.
