Masicka previews new music,’Wacky Dip’

Dancehall artiste, Masicka gave an update on the release of new music following a posted preview titled ‘Wacky Dip’.

The gennahsyde top man who has been sharing images teasing a new project throughout last week, posted an audio video of the single via his Instagram on Tuesday.

The ‘Hardball’ hitmaker also shared a May 24, 2023 release date for the track in the caption along with what appears to be the title of his upcoming album-‘Tyrant’.

‘Wacky Dip’ which is a popular early 2000’s dance move inspired by the late legendary dancer, Bogle who was also known by his alias ‘Mr. Wacky’.

Masicka previously referenced the late dancer while hinting at new material in March, which now seems to be unfolding in his latest single.

‘Wacky Dip’ would be his second official release of the year following his hit collaboration ‘Pieces’ ft Jahshii which premiered in February.

The single is also surmised to be part of his upcoming sophomore album which will be his first in partnership with major US record label, Def Jam Records.

‘Pieces’, which is the first single by the artiste to be promoted under the record label, has racked up over 6 million streams since its release.
