The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president, Michael Ricketts was presented with the sponsorship package by Restaurants of Jamaica Brand Manager, Andrei Roper, during a press conference at his organisation’s office.

This was just an extension of the support KFC have given to Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw since the fast-food company signed the Manchester City striker as its brand ambassador last year.

It also follows the government’s promise to provide support in the amount of $20 million to assist the Reggae Girlz in preparation for the 2023 FIFA Women’s Football World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in July.

The Reggae Girlz achieved the enviable status of being the first Caribbean country to qualify for two consecutive FIFA World Cup tournaments.

The Girlz have been selected in Group F and the fixtures will see them go against France on July 23, Panama on July 29, and Brazil on August 2. The tournament is slated to end on August 20.
