Rap mogul Jay Z strengthened his influence in European football after his Roc Nation management company acquired the Brazilian football agency, TFM which is home to over 100 players, including Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr.
In a statement, Roc Nation Sports (RNS) President and founder Juan Perez said the move is aimed at positioning the company to be among the premier players in the footballing world.
“In terms of football, Brazil is the center of it all. I strongly identify with a culture that has such an incredible passion for sport and music. Our influence in this game is growing and this move shows our intentions to the world,” said Perez.
Roc Nation which represents several notable names across various sports also has Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku as well as Manchester City midfielder and Belgium teammate Kevin De Bryune among its clientele.
17-year Real Madrid-bound talent Endrick and Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli who are signed with TFM will also now be represented by Hov’s company
it’s understood that TFM’s founder Frederico Pena will now act as lead for the new RNS wing in Brazil which is aimed at finding the best football players and future stars in the sport.
