Reggae artiste Julian Marley and his band ‘The Uprising’ have announced the dates for their upcoming ‘Colors of Royal’ tour set to start October 19 in the United Kingdom and France.
He has expressed that fans will experience “something truly personal” when they attend any of his stops from October 19 – November 5.
‘Colors of Royal’, which is Julian’s latest album, came out in March and was inspired by his nickname, “JuJu Royal”. It also came from a tip to him being the only one of the legendary Bob Marley’s sons born in England, where his mother, Lucy Pounder raised him.
The 48-year-old Marley, also revealed that the album’s title signifies the amalgamation of his tastes, representing the vibrant range of his musical expression.
For Julian, the album is “all about artistic freedom and exploration. We wanted to create something that was both true to reggae music and also pushed the envelope, and I think we’ve achieved that with ‘Colors of Royal’. It’s a journey through sound and color, and we can’t wait for people to experience it.”
