Popcaan’s passion for Clarks has been further cemented after partnering with the popular shoe brand for an upcoming release set for this month.
This partnership is part of the Wallabee line of shoes and is set for release on November 10, as per Highsnobiety.
The preview of the upcoming unruly drop adopts a bold red and black colourway, with a striking camo print accented by Popcaan’s signature “Unruly” wording as a pattern throughout the shoe.

Speaking to the publication, ‘Poppy,’ shared that the ‘Wallabee’ line was his favourite Clarks, hence the choice of the shoe category collaboration.
“The Wallabee is my favorite Clarks [shoe] so it’s only right. Red, black and purple are unruly colors. Big up Clarks we going harder on the next design in store.”
The Dancehall superstar also shared his introduction to the shoe and expressed the brand’s significance to Jamaica’s pop culture.
“My earliest memory of Clarks is wanting one to wear to school and couldn’t afford it,” Popcaan tells Highsnobiety.
“Clarks was perceived to be a clean and respected look in the streets of Jamaica. First time I saw a pair was on some Rasta man street people wearing them. To wear a pair of Clarks to school nowadays is still considered a plus.”
“The brand means a lot to my culture so it’s naturally a part of Jamaican history known worldwide. We all take to it and I guess as kids live, they’ll learn. “Wearing a pair of Clarks makes you a part of the street culture, so when politicians and them wear Clarks they think it’s cool to the streets,” he adds.
Clarks also posted a photograph of Popcaan taking a selfie among sheeps on a field via their Instagram on Monday.
The collaboration represents a full-circle moment for the ‘Unruly boss’ who, years before, helped to significantly boost the global popularity of the iconic footwear after his feature on Vybz Kartel’s 2010 anthem, ‘Clarks.’
