RajahWild, Teejay and 450 are among the Dancehall acts to break into Apple Music’s top songs in Reggae as 2023 continues to be a massive year of resurgence for Dancehall music internationally.
Teejay, who is enjoying a breakthrough year on the international scene with his Billboard hit “Drift,” maintains a strong presence among streams on the platform. “Drift”, arguably the song of the summer, enters into Christmas at number 11 on Apple Music’s top Reggae Songs.

The single’s popularity is expected to get a ‘second wind’ following recent remixes from Afrobeat giant Davido and rapper French Montana.
In the meantime, rising stars RajahWild and 450 continue to show their growing demand with appearances among the chart’s top 10 songs.
“GoGo” by RajahWid continues its rapid ascension across several platforms since its premiere this month to be ranked #7 overall.

“GoGo,” a runaway hit on the “Dutty Money Riddim,” also occupies the #1 spot on Apple Music in Jamaica and on YouTube.
450 has also solidified himself as one of the artistes to watch in 2024 as his song “Wild n Rich” holds firm as the ninth most streamed in the category.

“Wild n Rich” is currently the only Dancehall song among New York’s Top 25.

The “King of Reggae,” Bob Marley, continues to rule with three entries on the list, including the top song in Reggae with “Could This Be Love,” followed by “Mr Boombstic” Shaggy with “Angel” featuring Rayvon at #2.
