Brazilian Butt Lift or simply BBL has become a trend among women around the world, however, fast-rising reggae star Kxng Izem is on a mission to encourage ladies to love their natural state through his latest project titled “BBL”.

In a SLEEK exclusive, Izem revealed that the song was inspired by a friend of his who was told by someone close to her that she needed a BBL.

He said, “She confided in me about it and I decided that it’s a topic that someone needs to speak about because a lot of women feel pressured to live up to unrealistic societal standards.”

Izem further stated, “As the world is right now, it’s easy to get lost in the noise and conversations about who and what you are expected to be. I want people to know that it’s okay to be different and that there are people who love and accept you as you are too.”

The BBL is a surgery where a doctor transfers fat from the woman’s belly, hips, lower back, or thighs to the buttocks which costs between USD 8,000 – 10,000.
In that regard, Izem suggests that monies like that can be put to better use such as taking care of their children and acquiring assets.

He goes on to tell the ladies, that they don’t need a BBL as they are perfect with their natural body

Kxng Izem said, “Without Self Love and Respect there is no sense of direction in life. When you love and respect yourself, you are more inclined to accept your own unique habits and appearance and are less inclined to just follow the crowd.”

The conscious singer describes the music video as showing “Different types of women with different body types, suggesting that we all may look different but it’s those differences that make us unique.”

So far the video has racked up over 28 thousand views on YouTube.

Izem told SLEEK that his team “Wanted to keep the video simple but effective, highlighting women in their natural element.”
