Football superstar Paul Pogba is set for a 2025 comeback following news that his four-year drug ban was reduced to 18 months.
Pogba, who tested positive for dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) in the first game of the 2023/24 season, was barred from all competitive football-based activities after Italy’s National Anti-Doping Tribunal (TNA) accepted the request of the Anti-Doping Prosecutor’s Office to hand down the lengthy ban last March.
Noted football journalist Fabrizio Romano announced the update via his social media on Friday
The France International also hinted at his readiness to return to competitive football with a social media post of his feet in football shoes captioned with an hourglass emoji.
The Juventus midfielder’s last competitive games were substitute appearances against Bologna on August 27 and Empoli on September 3 before his suspension was announced.
