Reggae Striker Khadija “Bunny” Shaw continues to gain acknowledgement for her impressive form by world standards after being shortlisted in multiple categories of the FIFA Best Awards Football Awards.

Bunny, who has carried over her record-breaking form last into the current campaign for Manchester City Women, was nominated for The Best FIFA Women’s Player and FIFA 11’s Best Attacker.

It’s the latest round of global recognition for the Manchester City Women’s star following her second successive Ballon d’Or nomination, in addition to her near sweep of all the major women’s club football awards for reigning WSL Golden Boot Winner.

The nominations, which have become almost common ground for Shaw, further underline the global acknowledgement of the Jamaican’s quality as one of the best players in the world by every standard.

It’s also a momentum boost for the Man City star ahead of her official return to national duties with the Reggae Girlz in their upcoming friendlies against South Africa in November and December.

The 2024 Fifa Best Awards will be presented at a ceremony in January 2025.
