“Please, Don’t blame the artistes” said veteran Dancehall star Mr Vegas, who came to the defence of the deejays, who performed at a recent PNP event in Cave Valley, St. Ann.

“You got what you got what you booked,” the veteran Dancehall star shared via social media, commenting on the backlash following a brief utterance of profanity during a performance cameo segment which was in support of party representative Danishka Williams.

The event which was geared toward gaining support for Williams, has largely been overshadowed by chatter over “Suck You M#*her” slip-up by Dancehall star Chronic Law during his cameo.

Despite Popcaan, who was also among the artists present, quickly apologising on the ‘Law boss’ behalf, who was made aware of the unsuitability of the language for the type of event, it has remained a staple among social discourse.

During his commentary, Vegas noted that the organisers should shoulder the responsibility to “vet “artistes they book for the events”
