Detectives assigned to the St Elizabeth Division arrested and charged one man, after he was positively identified on CCTV footage, with House Breaking and Larceny following an incident on Friday, April 9.

 The man has been as 47-year-old Oval Thompson.  

Reports are that about 3:00 p.m., the complainant securely locked up her business place and went home; on her return, she discovered that the store had been broken into. She made checks and viewed the security camera and saw Thompson stealing two curtains valued at 2,600 JMD.

The police were summoned and footage shared, an investigation was launched and Thompson was subsequently charged.
