All travel to Jamaica should be avoided – CDC

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has warned that persons should avoid all travel to Jamaica.

The notice on the CDC website read,

“Because of the current situation in Jamaica even fully vaccinated travellers may be at risk for getting and spreading COVID-19 variants and should avoid all travel to Jamaica.”

As of April 5, 2021, Jamaica has recorded 41,328 COVID cases and 622 deaths.
