Andrew Nembhard was pushed into a career-best night against the NBA champions Golden State Warriors as his Indiana Pacers team won 112-104 in their game on Monday night.

Nembhard dropped a game-high ‘double-double’- 33 points, 13-assists to go with eight rebounds as he ends with career-best figures.

The game on a whole was a very dramatic encounter.

Despite only winning one winning quarter, the Indiana Pacers did enough damage in their only-quarter lead which proved vital in the final result.

The Pacers bagged the first 34-21 and relinquished the second and third 29-25 and 31-30 before sharing the final quarter 23-23 in the final period as they hung on for an eight-point.

Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole were again the main features for the Warriors with 28 and 23 points respectively with Steph Curry’s 12 points underscored completing a tamed night for the champions.

The result means the Pacers pick up their 13th win of the season to move up 5th in the Eastern Conference while Golden State remains 10th in the West after slumping to their 12th loss of the season.

Other results on the night saw the Dallas Maverick continue their turnaround with a 130-111 win over Phoenix Suns.

It was also a miserable return to Houston for James Harden as his Philadelphia 7ers team was defeated 132-123 by former team Houston Rockets in overtime on Monday.
