Rising Dancehall star Bayka continues to verify the mass and diverse appeal of his sound after he was listed among the top artistes currently listened to by top International Pop Rock group – Coldplay.

In a post on their official social media pages on Monday, the group listed Bayka’s smash hit- She like it, among their list of favorite songs in their playlists.

The deejay is one of two Jamaicans named on the list of favs. of the group which also included upcoming reggae act Kyoka along with major acts such as the likes of American Soul legend- Eryka Badu and British rap juggernaut -Stormzy.

She Like It, which was officially released in April, has been among the standout tracks of 2022 in the dancehall space and has been a staple among several playlists online as well as on local and regional airwaves.

The post which previews the multiple platinum group’s musical current musical interests has also hinted at a new album in the works with the message also saying “We Are in the Studio”

Bayka, who began his rise to fame in 2021 following his breakout track mobster is also known for popular songs such as Top Tier and 1 Uptown all of which have exceeded 3 million streams on YouTube.

She Like It, however, significantly boosted his notoriety reach, and reception by fans which also popularized “Dat is it” as a slang that has gradually assimilated into the ever-expanding repository of urban Jamaican speech.
