‘Berts’ is not strange to charitable dealings, as they have been giving back to many Jamaicans for several reasons.

At the foundation launch, Tomlinson Jr. announced that they will be offering scholarships and grants to the tune of 2.5 million dollars.

Not much detail was given but Tomlinson Jr says applications will be open Thursday, July 6, 2023, with how to apply and will be placed on their social media platforms.

Another project for the newly established foundation will be the Berts Charity 5k Run.

Tomlinson says the run is to raise at least 10 million dollars for families in need and the vulnerable in society with Food for the Poor being the main beneficiary.

The 5k Run will happen under the slogan “Let’s run this race together.”

The official launch of ‘Bert’s Auto Parts Foundation’ took place at Bert’s Auto Parts commercial office at 72A Molynes Road, Kingston 10.
