In the wake of a bitter defamation suit with rapper Nicki Minaj, popular blogger Marley Green known as Nosey Heaux is showing some remorse after issuing a public apology for remarks made against the rapper’s young son.

The retraction of the remarks and subsequent apology came was made via tweet which read;

“During a few of my live shows I made a comment about Nicki Minaj’s son. I was under a lot of stress and pressure at the time. But I apologize for those comments. No excuses.”

In that same breathe however she reiterated her stance against the “Super base” rapper’s suit.

“I will continue to fight to clear my name with the help of my team and lawyer. @bobbysamini.”

Both women are set to head to the courts after Minaj expressed she was going after Green for alleged defamatory remarks about her in a video she posted on Monday (Sept. 12).

In the video, Green reportedly said, “[Minaj is] shoving all this cocaine, shoving in all this cocaine up her nose. Allegedly. Thank you. Allegedly. But we all know it’s true. F***-listen, I can’t even say allegedly with that ’cause I, we all know it’s true. I’m not saying allegedly on that. Nicki Minaj is a cokehead.”

Minaj had also alleged that Green made “vile” comments about her one-year-old son, saying:

“Your baby is going to be a rapist, too.”

The remarks about her son, were seemingly a swipe at his father and Nicki‘s husband Kenneth Petty.

He was convicted in 1995 for the attempted rape of a woman named Jennifer Hough.

Judd Burstein, Minaj’s attorney, claims that the “cokehead” video on Twitter received upwards of 2,000 likes and over 250 retweets at the time the filing.

The Bronx native has dismissed such claims as false and disruptive and is now suing for defamation.

The suit is reportedly seeking a minimum of US $75,000.

Also in the event that Green loses the case and is unable to compensate Minaj, the rapper’s legal team is seeking ownership over the blogger’s trademark.
