The unwavering International craving for music from Bob Marley and the Wailers continues to be underlined after his “Legend” album was officially platinum for the 15th time in the UK.

The album, which is Marley’s most commercially successful project, includes several classic releases, including- “No Woman, No Cry,” “Is This Love,” “I Shot the Sherif,” and “Stir It Up”.

Legend’s latest certification was officially verified by the British Phonographic Institute (BPI) on Thursday.

The award is Marley’s first of the new year after following up another successful 2024 in territory where the Reggae Monarch continued his reign as the most dominant figure and earned several certifications across all categories- (Silver, Gold, Platinum and Multi-platinum.)

The award is also the first Reggae project to be certified in the UK in 2025.
