The Yallahs police has revealed that a body that is believed to be that of a missing security guard was retrieved from bushes close to his home in Louden Hill, Yallahs this morning.

It is understood that 57-year-old Melford Brown has not been seen or heard from since he left for work on Monday.

Further reports also stated that Brown did report for his shift on Tuesday. Following this, a missing person report was filed by the security company with which Brown was affiliated.

A search was also conducted at his residence, but the search proved futile as he was not found.

Residents also alluded to the sounds of gunshots in the Louden Hill area on the night in question but failed to notify investigators.

However, when the lawmen were notified by concerned residents, a second search was conducted in nearby bushes in the community. The body was then removed to the morgue pending post mortem.
