Brandy has taken her musical tiff with rap sensation Jack Harlow up another level after dropping a rap diss targeted at the ‘first class’ hitmaker.

The one verse track which was dropped on Wednesday, see’s the ‘sitting on top of the world’ hitmaker rap over the instrumental for Harlow’s billboard charting ‘first class’ single.

The bars matched the instrumental’s title, as the singer swopped out soft ballads for gritty punch lines and witty jabs which would arguably pass for an official feature or remix.

“Allow me to reintroduce myself, my name is World Famous one of the greatest, living legend did I mention my resume may is amazing. The game needs a breath of fresh air and I’m breathe taking”

Brandy opens with a gentle reminder of her status before severely shading Harlow later in the verse.

“Painting pictures Cinderella scriptures but that don’t mean Jack in the streets Jack of all trades now here jack of a beast Queen’s canceled but you could never cancel the Queen.”….43 and feeling like a kid with millions watching popular but always but now I’m popular boutta pop shh.. for those outta pocket” which is a reference to Harlow’s 2020 track “what’s popping”.

The ‘beef’ between the two started from Jack Harlow expressed ignorance to not the knowing Bandy’s song and that she was related to fellow singer Ray J during an appearance on popular hip hop radio station Hot 97.

Harlow while listening to series of songs in challenge struggle to figure who the voice was behind the vocals despite several hints by the hosts of the show which included them referencing Ray J as her brother.

To which the Tyler Hero rapper also expressed surprise of the kinship between the two singers.

Brandy subsequently responded jokingly to his ignorance of her catalogue on her twitter which “I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing [his] ass to sleep,” she tweeted.

Which apparently was a hint of what was to come a few days later. Only time will tell if Harlow will respond or just let it be.
