Talismanic Reggae Girlz striker Khadijah ‘Bunny’ Shaw has been nominated for the Barclays Women’s Super League (WSL) Player of the Month Award for February.

Shaw was announced among five other stand-out female players in the WSL via their social media on Friday.

The Jamaican, who has been in sublime form for WSL team Manchester City Women, all season, will again be heavily favored to snag the monthly award having previously copped the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Player of the Month for January.

The prolific striker has netted five times in her last four games for City in February to move her tally to 24 goals in 22 played, including a fifth hat trick of the season.

The Reggae Girlz captain, who has been nominated for the CONCACAF player of the year award, also maintains her lead as the league’s top scorer with 15 goals from 16 played.
