known for delivering hard-hitting and seductive bangers, the original Dancehall “gangstress” Stacious, who has been musically ‘low-key,’ says she has been steadily putting in the work for a music resurgence.

The dancehall star shared her music and career updates during a recent Sleek-exclusive interview.

The deejay shared that while she may have been relatively “quiet” in the music arena compared to before, she has been actively involved in the entrepreneurial side of her interest.

In addition to her healthy drinks venture, Stacious has been involved in personal training over the last few years, which has also required a fair degree of commitment.

The “Come Into My Room” artiste noted she has scaled back slightly from that aspect of her business to dedicate more time to her music, where she has also branched into the production side from which she released some of her recent singles.

With a discography spanning over 15 years, she notes that she still receives dub requests for older materials. She adds that her fanbase is just as diverse, with many from Belize, South America and Africa, among other regions.

In regards to newer school acts she listed Jada Kingdom as one of the talents that have stood out for her through creativity and style.

Stacious also applauded the return of juggling, noting that it was needed back in the culture as a very missed element in the music space.

She listed Notnice, Rvssian, and Jordan among producers she would love to work with once the timing is right.

The multitalented artiste shared a few projects that have been getting attention around some interesting topics.
