Music sensation Byron Messia’s collaborative effort titled “Choppa” featuring Rapper Lil Baby has landed at number 2 in the Reggae category on Apple Music.

The chart placing comes less than a day following the release of the music video on Thursday.

The Rvssian-produced single has been highly anticipated since the collaboration was teased last year. The surge is reflective of the massive interest in the dancehall and hip-hop link-up.

“Choppa” is the latest production between Rvssian and Messia, who previously teamed up on the dancehall summer bop “Tropicana” last year.

The Lil Baby connection is also the latest in a growing list of top international collabs by Messia, who has collaborated with Chris Brown and Meek Mill, to name a few.
