The National Security Minister Dr. Horace Chang anounced that Closed-Circuit Television cameras will be installed along the Northern Coastal Highway.

This will be under JamaicaEye and will be installed between Ocho Rios and Discovery Bay in St. Ann.

Dr. Chang said the cameras, which will be positioned strategically, will serve as a robust crime-fighting tool and enhance public safety and security.

This follows the increase in technology and funding for the police force in recent times.

The Minister made the announcement while addressing members of the St. Ann business community at a meeting held at the Couples San Souci Hotel in Ocho Rios over the weekend.
