A police constable died in a motor vehicle accident yesterday along the Bay Road in Little London, Westmoreland.

The policeman, Nicoy Walker was on his way home from work at the time of the crash.

SLEEK understands that the Constable was assisted to the Savanna-la-Mar hospital by colleagues, however, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Constable Walker was attached to the Westmoreland police division where he was a part of the quick response team.

Meanwhile, the police in that division are also praying for the speedy recovery of a woman Constable who was also in a motor vehicle accident this week.

She is stable and recovering.
