Cristiano Ronaldo continued his record-breaking football career after tallying the most assists ever at the European Championships during Portgual’s 3-0 win over Turkey on Saturday.

Ronaldo, 39, netted a record eighth assist of the Euros following an unselfish pass in the box to Bruno Fernades, who scored Portugal’s third goal in the 55th minute.

That goal came after Turkey’s Samet Akaydin’s own goal doubled Portual’s in minute 28, following Bernado Silver’s second-minute opener.

The feat means the Al Nassr star now holds the tournament record for most goals (14) and assists (8) in what is likely his last European championship.

The result sees the Group F leaders qualify for the next round with a maximum of six points from two games ahead of their final fixture against Georgia on July 1.

Ronaldo, who recently broke the Saudi Pro League’s single-season scoring record(34), is also football’s all-time leading goal-scorer with 895 goals overall. He also has the most international goals (130).
