Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first Saudi Arabian Pro League goal in the most dramatic fashions as he successfully converted an injury-time penalty to rescue a last-gasp point for Al Nassr in a dramatic 2-2 draw on Friday.

The highly anticipated occasion came in the 92nd minute which saw the Portugal captain, who is also Al Nassr hold his nerve to slam home not only his first goal pro league goal, but also Al Nassr’s equalizer.

Ronaldo’s customary ‘Siuuu’ celebration was not done on the night as the striker opted for a quick restart in an attempt to go for the winner.

While they ended up settling for a draw, fans would have no doubt been pleased with the finish as Al Nassr retained their lead atop the standings on 34 points after 15 games played with a game in hand over their competition.

Ronaldo marked his debut in the middle east with two goals in a January exhibition game as part of an all-star team against French champions Paris Saint Germaine (PSG), where he once again locked horns with long-time rival Lionel Messi who also scored on the night.

Friday’s win was Ronaldo’s second official Pro league game after making his Al Nassr debut in their 1-0 victory over Ettifaq at the King Saud University Stadium on January 22.
