Steph Curry’s Golden State Warriors are set to face Kyrie Irving’s Dallas Mavericks in what’s expected to be a tactical contest between the two teams when they take the court on Wednesday at the American Airlines Arena.

The Warriors who snapped a three-game losing streak following their victory over the Houston Rockets, which came on the back of a game-high 30-point effort by Curry, will be seeking to build on that momentum on their trip to Dallas.

The Mavs will also be eager to return to winning ways after seeing their three-game win streak snapped by the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday.

Despite a game-high 28 points by Irving, it wasn’t enough as they picked up their 36th loss to fall to seventh in the Western Conference, one spot behind the Warriors who remains sixth in the standings.

A win however could see them leap frog pass the Golden State Warriors.

Golden State will however consolidate their spot should it end in their favor as they seek to close in on the top five teams ahead of the Playoffs.

The game will also be their first time facing each other since Irving’s trade to the Mavs earlier this year.

Tip-off for that encounter is set for 6:30 pm.
